In May 2018, as an important platform for the integrated treatment of severe trauma and critical diseases, the trauma center of the First People's Hospital of Lianyungang City was established. The center's team includes departments of emergency medicine, intensive medicine, orthopedics, neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery, urology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, otolaryngology, burns, anesthesiology, and other trauma-related departments, including foot and ankle trauma, knee joint, elbow trauma, spinal trauma, nonunion, bone infection, ankle minimally invasive treatment, arthroscopic treatment of multiple professional treatment groups. The experts of different disciplines intersect, infiltrate, integrate and complement each other in order to solve the problems that cannot be solved by a single subject. At the same time, the treatment rate of patients with severe trauma has been improved effectively.
