Lianyungang Children's Hospital is a specialized hospital integrating children's medical treatment, health care, prevention, teaching and scientific research. The Children's Hospital has a full range of specialties, and the pediatric internal medicine department has the specialities such as the child cardiovascular medicine, the kidney, the blood, the breath, the endocrine, the nerve, the serious medicine, the infection digests, the newborn medicine, as well as the child health care; the pediatric surgery department has the specialities as follows, the child general surgery, the urology, the orthopedics, the heart chest surgery, as well as the newborn surgery; among them, there are 1 provincial level clinical key specialized subject, 7 city-level clinical key specialized subject, as well as 1 city-level clinical key specialized subject construction unit. Interventional treatment of congenital heart disease, pediatric laparoscopic surgery, pediatric pneumatic bladder surgery, pediatric orthopedic arthroscopy and many other technical levels are taking the leading position in our province.

The Children's Hospital is now equipped with 284 beds, with the annual number of more than 160,000 emergency patients, the annual discharge of patients more than 9,990, as well as the annual number of operations more than 2,200.
