From 4^th July till 11^th July, Jiangsu Province Hospital medical alliance international cooperation and talent training project “International Training Camp for Clinical Research Backbones” was held in Nanjing. Our hospital selected Dr. Gu Yan from Imaging Department and Dr. Bao Zengtao from Gastrointestinal Surgery Department to participate.On July 11, Vice President Zhang Hailin attended the video conference of the international training camp completion assessment, listened to the report of the students' research program, and participated in the assessment and scoring of the completion of the students.

In November 2019, our hospital and Jiangsu Province Hospital signed the cooperation agreement on the international cooperation and talent Training Project of the Medical alliance of Jiangsu Province Hospital, and agreed to carry out the "Clinical Research Backbone cultivation Project" regularly to assist our hospital to cultivate the clinical medical research backbone in different stages and levels on a long term basis. This is the second phase of the project, attended by a team of lecturers from Peking University and senior clinical experts from Brigham and Women's Hospital affiliated to Harvard University. After 7 days of training, the two trainees will be able to master the main techniques and methods of clinical research, transform the clinical scientific research ideas into implementable high-quality clinical research plans, set up projects as soon as possible after returning to the hospital, and apply the knowledge learned to clinical research practice.
