The First People's Hospital of Lianyungang central lab covers an area of 1200 square meters, equipped with 10 professional and technical personnel, advanced instruments and equipment including: a full set of cell culture equipment, cell microfluidic experiment platform, FCM (flow cytometry), protein chip system in liquid phase and Real - time PCR, gel image processing system, refrigerated ultra centrifuge, fluorescence and inverted microscope, protein purification system, etc., can provide molecular biology, cell biology, immunology and protein function of high-end experiment platform.

Central lab assists the whole working staff and postgraduate to devote to the scientific research of high and new technology research, help departments to participate in hospital major project organization and implementation, the introduction of new research methods to explore new research area, enlarge the lateral contact inside and outside hospital, cooperate with hospital teaching work at the same time, provide a good experiment platform and technical guidance for scientific research and clinical teaching, as well as the hospital’s molecular biology, flow cytometry and autoimmune disease routine lab work. The central lab has built an advanced laboratory information management system and realized resource sharing with HIS system. Established a sound quality management system, routine lab tests have passed the ISO15189 recognition, all routine tests have participated in the EQA by ministry of health and provincial clinical testing center and achieved outstanding results for consecutive years.
